Yala (Ruhuna) National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 bird species. Among its more famous residents are the world’s biggest concentration of leopards, majestic elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted dear, peacocks, and crocodiles.

Gather 6 of your friends or family members as the minimum and pick up can be arranged from Thissamaharama or Yala area.

Full day Safari – Time: 6.00 am to 6 pm

In a full day safari, the jeeps venture far inside the Jungle to give the best opportunity to see the best of Sri Lankan wildlife. These roads are very basic tracks and going is roughly giving you the best viewing and game drive experience in a Sri Lankan National Park. We will provide you a comfortable jeep with an expert driver with a good understanding of the fauna and flora at the national park.

• 5.15 AM – 5.45 AM: Picked up from the hotel and drive to the park entrance
• 6.00 AM – 8.30 AM: Morning Safari
• 8.00 AM – 9.15 AM: Breakfast at the beach
• 9.30 AM – 12.30 PM: Morning Safari
• 1.00 PM – 2.00 PM: –Noon break near a river or beach. Lunchtime
• 2.15 PM – 4.00 PM: – Evening Safari
• 6.00 PM – Departure & dropped off to the hotel.
