Madu River- A relatively unspoiled lagoon with many important ecological characteristics like abundant mangroves located in south of Sri Lanka. Madu River is a braided river with 64 small islands and where the banks are all covered with lush mangrove forests that are home to dozens of incredible animal species. During your boat ride at Madu River you can observe hundreds of tropical birds, some mammals, butterflies, molluscs species and reptiles including snakes, lizards and especially crocodiles.
